In the past 70 years the Friends have not received a single complaint against its practices and management. Nevertheless, the charity has an established Complaints Policy in place which it will follow should the need arise. The Executive Committee approved this policy on June 4th, 2019 and reviewed it on June 1st 2021.

The Charity Commission approved the revised Constitution and The Friends ratified it at their Annual General Meeting held on November 16th, 2020.

EC 8.b. Constitution March 2020

To comply with our Constitution, fulfil our responsibilities under Charity Commission and follow broader Government guidelines, The charity have committed to setting out its Privacy Policy to allow members of the public, and volunteers, supporters a better understanding of how we respect the privacy of all those who interact with the charity. We wish all who communicate with us to be confident in the knowledge their communications are  treated with respect and confidence.

Jill Warburton was asked at the December 2020 Exec Comm meeting to re-write sections of the handbook to present to their March 2021 meeting.
