After you’ve visited the Car Boot Sale on Sunday September 4th, drop by Jenny Harding-Rolls’s home, 16 Johnson’s Courtyard, from 11:00 to 4:00. Local artist Nicola Werner will be showing her latest pottery pieces. Start your Christmas shopping early as 20% of sales is being donated to the Friends.
It’s all happening at this year’s Annual General Meeting on Wednesday September 14th at 6:00pm in Digby Memorial Church Hall. Dawn Dawson, Acting CEO of Dorset Health Care Trust, is our guest speaker. She’ll be able to answer your questions on their plans for the future. We also welcome Stephen Uden from the Rendezvous as he shares the positive impact the Friends’ contributions have made to young people here in Sherborne. We will be electing a new Chairman and four new Trustees. Enjoy a cooling drink and feast on nibbles following the meeting as you catch up with fellow Friends.
Polish your dancing shoes and join us on Saturday October 29th in Digby Memorial Church Hall from 7:30pm for Dancing with the Diamonds. The Diamonds are Sherborne’s own local six-piece band playing the hits from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
