Do You Have A Sewing Machine Or Overlocker?

DO YOU HAVE A SEWING MACHINE OR OVERLOCKER?
IF SO WILL YOU SEW NURSE’S SCRUBS FOR US?

As you know the NHS, and the country, is under attack from the COVID19-Virus.

Because of this, there is a national shortage of scrubs, (lightweight protective clothing) for doctors and nurses and long-sleeved gowns. This affects all of us in Sherborne.

While social-distancing is important – there is more you can do for yourself, family, friends and neighbours.

If you have a sewing machine or overlocker and are willing to sew clinical scrubs from a simple pattern, the Friends of the Yeatman Hospital are looking for you.

This is your opportunity to make a difference. SHERBORNE NEEDS YOU, and your sewing machine!

We will provide the material and the one-size patterns for scrubs and long-sleeved gowns for our doctors, nurses and healthcare staff at the Yeatman.

Will you provide the skills to produce the goods?

Any and all extras will be shared across other Dorset NHS hospitals

The Friends of Yeatman Hospital has donated £1000, to this project and we invite our Friends to consider donating specifically to this project.

Please contact Linsley Withers on admin@friendsoftheyeatman.org.uk or telephone 07903 955024.
