For almost 70 years the Friends of the Yeatman Hospital charity has worked in Sherborne and surrounding villages to raise funds in support of the hospital. A BIG Christmas shopping day thank you from the Friends of Yeatman. The Friends of Yeatman Hospital set out its stall at the top end of Cheap Street as part of Sherborne’s annual Christmas Shopping Fair and raised a staggering £900 in public donations.
More than 120 mothers and their babies, born at The Yeatman Hospital before 1986, met to celebrate and thank the Hospital Staff in Sherborne last Saturday September 21, 2019. 125 birthday guests attended, aged from 91 to 36, who either gave birth or were born at the hospital including Sherborne Mayor, Cllr. Jon Andrews.
