Yeatman Willows ward wins national award for exemplary, holistic end of life care. The Willows ward, committed to providing care on a par with a hospice to all patients approaching the end of life and their relatives, has been named the first ever Gold Standard Framework Hospital Ward of the Year.
Dear Colleague, We are writing to tell you that today, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the national quality regulator for NHS organisations, has published their report of the recent inspection of our services. They have announced that Dorset HealthCare has achieved the highest possible overall rating of ‘outstanding’.
The Royal College of Psychiatrists has awarded Sister Barbara Ludlow of The Willows Ward a Quality Mark from 4 January 2019- 3 January 2022. This is a major achievement for the Yeatman Hospital and the staff of The Willows.
