Jill Warburton, Trustee of the Friends of the Yeatman Hospital, today announced that the Friends of the Yeatman Hospital is to support the Sherborne Community Kitchen, a community – volunteer project established through Sherborne Viral Kindness to help those in Sherborne and the surrounding villages who need assistance during the Coronavirus crisis.
In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Trustees of the Friends of the Yeatman Hospital have reviewed all proposed and planned fund raising activity and programmes for 2020. Liz Turnbull, Trustee and events co-ordinator of the Friends confirmed the outcome of the review.
Trustees of the Friends of The Yeatman Hospital this week agreed to suspend the practice of door-to-door collection of annual subscriptions to the charity in response to the unprecedented Coronavirus outbreak.
The highly successful Who’s Who in Health directory of health and care services for the Sherborne area has been updated for 2020 and is available throughout the town free of charge.
Due to the global impact of the Coronavirus Sherborne’s surgeries normal services are under review as they follow the evolving NHS England and Public Health England guidelines – DON’T COME INTO THE YEATMAN IF YOU HAVE COVID-19 LIKE SYMPTOMS
